To apply for federal student financial aid, and to apply for
many state student aid programs, students must complete a Free Application for
Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). You may obtain a FAFSA on campus at DNI
or at www.fafsa.ed.gov .
Complete your 2009/2010 FAFSA and submit it to our Financial Aid Office. If you need

Social Security card and driver’s license
Alien registration card (if you are not a US citizen)
Parents’ Federal Income Tax Return (if dependent) see definition of “Parent” below
W-2 Forms or other records of income earned
Records of other untaxed income received, such as: welfare benefits, TANF,
veterans benefits, military or clergy allowances
Current bank statements and records of stocks, bonds, and other investments
Business or farm records, if applicable
If your parents are both living and are married to each other, answer questions about them.
If your parent is widowed or single, answer the questions about that parent. If your widowed parent
is remarried
as of the day you complete your FAFSA, answer the questions about that parent and
the person whom your parent married (stepparent).
If your parents are divorced or separated, answer the questions about the parent you lived with the
most in the last 12 months.
(If you did not live with one parent more than the other, give answers about
the parent who provided more financial support during the last
12 months, or during the most recent
year that you actually received support from a parent.) If this person is remarried when you complete
your FAFSA, answer the questions on the rest of this form about that parent and the person your
parent remarried (stepparent).
